The man-child found a hospital-esque place for his mother. So he felt a bit better. She was definitely looking really bad. He put her down on a bed that was in there and covered her up, sitting next to the bed and watching her for a while. He didn't even know his name yet. So he tried doing something that he wasn't sure he could do. He tried speaking. "M- ma-" The tried word didn't really work and the sound of his voice frightened him a little. It was soft but it was deep and velvety sounding. He frowned a little and tried again. "Mom. Wake up." He managed to get those two little sentences out and was kinda happy. So he poked his mother in the side and tried to wake her up.

Her mind was the first thing to come back to life. She had been sleeping dreamlessly and it scared her. She could tell she was somewhere that wasn't near the Academy and that scared her. Kain I'm so scared... Help me. She thought before opening her eyes. When she did she was looking right at him. Her child. She thought. When she was actually able to see him, her eyes widened and immediately filled with tears. "You... you look so much... like your father." Eime said, doing her best to keep her sobs minimal. She hated being so emotional. Being her, she could tell what he was waiting for so she looked at him for a while trying desperately to remember the name she had come up with for him if he were a boy. Then she remembered. "Logan." The raven haired woman whispered as tears fell from her overloaded eyes. "Logan Kain Shadow. That's who you are, little one." Kain I wish you were here. I need you... if only you could hear me... With her last thought being put out there with all her might, just in case he could hear her, she passed back out but not before leaving an imprint of where she was on her thought.

(Ah. Forgive his first dozen or so posts. He is a newborn sooo it'll take a bit before his personality comes through.)
As soon as he heard his name, he knew it was right. That it was his name. That it belonged only to him. He just nodded and sat back, keeping a watchful eye on his mother.
(Bah. I'm tired of RPing with myself. I'll probably still be around so if anyone wants me leave me a messageo n the CBox. -L)`

shade slammed the door open,"you freaks can't have her..." he suddenly started and looked even closer at the man (  ??) and shook his head. it was like looking into a mirror that made him younger. then the feelings eminating from logan caught him off guard," your....her son? " he asked only half believing it," really?" |

(I guess he's a man...) (okay he's gonna have his personality now)
Logan jumped up from his chair, glaring at the new-comer that looked like him. He snapped his fingers, a small flame appearing in his palm. Glancing quickly down at it, he saw that it was a murky crimson and blue. That meant that the newcomer was angry and concerned. Narrowing his eyes at Shade, he continued to glare at him; watching him closely, ready to attack if he needed to protect his mother. "Yes." He told the stranger, not moving from her bedside. Gently laying his hand on Eime's he snapped again, looking down at the flame, the look only a flash of his blue eyes. The color of the flame was a very subdued light red and black. Love and pain. Both were dominant, the love and pain. He could only imagine that she felt love towards both of them. So that, plus the stranger looking like him, and the stranger busting in saying what he did put it together. "You're my father." Logan said decisively, not even letting Kain be able to deny it.

*well I am guess anyone can join so I want part of this Yahoooo!* *She's freakishly powerful so thats why you can really detect her*
Chiyo had been watching for a while.
She suddenly appeared in the room with her arms folded. "Aw, look at the little family," She said with a laugh. Her nose cinkled of all the different energies in the room. *lost spirits*
She had forgot that alot of the people that die in the land beyond sometimes become trapped. "How annoying," She thought.

kain drew his sword torwords chiyo," step away!!!" his anger flaired up and he realized it wasn't his. it was from all those in this cursed land. he growled and controlled himself," who are you?" she was too calm. his head ached with her emotion or lack of.

Eime kinda stirred, becoming aware of different people other than Logan in the room. One was as familiar as can be but the other wasn't. It was kinda familiar but she couldn't peg where she'd felt the presence before. Plus, she wasn't really paying attention. She was still in a good deal of pain.
Now Eime didn't actually open her eyes but she moved her hand towards Shade a bit, mumbling, "Kain..." almost incoherently. Moving unconsciously to try to relieve the pain, her arm fell off the bed still trying to reach out towards Shade.

She calmly walked up to the sword and placed her finger on it. "Lower your sword boy," She said and with that she forced his hand down. With a smirk she looked to Eime and then to Logan.

Logan moved himself in between his mother and this newcomer. "Stay away." He growled at her, red seeping into his blue eyes. He had noticed his mother movign around but he had figured it would be all right. Until he saw the woman loo from his father to him and then to his mother. He'll protect them if needed.

shade suddenly felt sharp in his head, eime's pain. he tryed to sooth her, forcing love and comfort but her pain over came him.he closed his eye's and grabbed her hand taking all her greif and momentarilly numbing her hopeingitwould last and he could last through her pain in him and that none would leak back to her. he wispered," Logan. just keep her away a moment. this is important. kay?"

When their hands were put together, she squeezed because of the pain but once it was gone for that moment Eime was able to come completely to without that blocking wall of pain. Her gaze immediately went to Shade's face. She smiled a little- as much as she could- and muttered, "Thank you." But what she was thinking was I love you. Leaning her head back in the pillow, she closed her eyes and reveled in the moment, not even caring about anything else really.

Logan kept his gaze on the stranger only nodding and saying, "Yes, Pop." He watched her carefully, keeping everything about him loose but ready to go if needed.

Her eyes remained closed but she tightened her grip on Shade's hand by a bit. "Leave my sister alone." She said rather calmly with a large sigh. Kain, you don't have to take all of that burden from me. I can handle most of the pain. I don't want you hurt. She thought to him, squeezing his hand again.
