Eime stood in front of her mirror, her hands gently placed on her stomach waiting for Shade to get there. Oh what will he think? How will he react? Ohh.. I feel a little dizzy.. she thought, leaning forward and resting her forehead and one hand on the mirrors surface.

shade knocked on the door.he waited and said aloud," hey it's me kain."

Pushing away from the mirror, she stumbled at first but then regained her footing. Opening the door she smiled at him and said, "Come on in." She was leaning on the door, the world was still spinning around a bit.

he walked in and picked her up gently so she barley felt it. he sat down on the bed and sat her on his lap. (he can tell she is worried so he's being gentle) " are you ok eime?"

She laughed and leaned her head on his shoulder. "In one sense of the term, yes. In another, no." The room was still spinning but not as much. God why won't it go away? she thought squeezing her eyes shut so she couldn't watch it anymore.

he started rocking her gently, stroking her hair. she felt a slight calm flow over her," tell me what's troubling you."

In a few minutes the spinning was slowed to barely moving and a few more minutes later it completely stopped. She smiled again and wrapped her arms around him. Then what was 'wrong' hit her again and the calm slipped away. "Please promise not to freak out."

he raised one eyebrow," i will not freak out in your or anyone elses presence but i think i need to stand up real quick. i got hurt in the war and my ribs hurt a little." he sat her on the bed and was leaning against the wall nearest her in the same instant," ok tell me. i'm ready."

Here goes.. she thought before taking a deep breath. "Erm well.. I'm p-p-pregnant." she stuttered out, looking at the floor now, wrining her hands.

She rushed over to him. "Kain! Kain are you okay?" she asked though she knew he was unconscious. She pulled his head into her lap and stroked his hair, waiting for him to wake up.

shade's eye's fluttered open. he smiled apologeticaly," hey.sorry. i'm happy but just surprized. are you ok?" he asked suddenly remembering her feelings from when he first came in.
