Leaving

She waited for a ship to take her back home to her island she squuezed her bag and prayed that no one would come.
She hated saying goodbye. She just gave Rachel a note and was prepared to leave.

Alistair came bolting out behind a building he stopped about 10 feet form her, he doubled over catching his breath he had ran all the way here when Rachel had told him Ava would be leaving. He stood up straight and smiled. "Didn't think you could leave with out saying goodbye to your buddy couldja?" he laughed, still panting a bit.

She froze once she heard his voice. She sighed. This was so, hard to say and she was afraid she might end up crying.
She then pulled up her best smile adn said "YOu know I hate saying goodbye."

He rubbed his neck sheepishly. "I know but... I could just let you go with out saying anything! So when should you be back?"

Her eyes widened as small tears began to form. She quickly looked away from him and closed her eyes.
"Al, I might not me coming back." she muttered still not looking at him.

His smiled dropped. "W-w....'" he couldn't finish. His heart sank as the word she had said soaked in. He might not ever see her again... he had to tell her.. but how? He decided to tell her straight out. "Well theirs something I need to tell you... if I"m not going to see you again...I know how much you felt for Kaemon...And I know that you probably don't feel the same for me but I have to tell you." He paused for long time trying to think of a way to say it not to hurt her. "I...Love you...with all of my heart I love you." he felt bad for putting this on her but he would have gone crazy he hadn't told her.

Her head snapped up revealing her tear struck face. "Alis-" she could say anything. She was just struck by surprise. Tears began to fall down her face as she shook her head.
"No, Al no," she begged "I can't deal with thsi Al I just can't," Suddenly She realized her ship was here. She looked at the ship and back at him. She closed her eyes and stood there crying. "I just can't," she cried and ran off. As she did her letter from her mother telling her her father was dieing fell. But she didn't see it she instead justr an to the ship and it sailed. Off. She didn't even look back at him.

He hung his head and dropped to his knees. He should have know she still hadn't gotten over him. even after Kaemon had rejected her. What was it? What had he done to deserve this to fall head over heel in love with a woman who heart was already given away? A tear fell from his eyes he just let it fall he didn't care who saw. He didn't care about anything...
