she walked down the corridor from the earth dorms. she smiled as she flipped threw her papers of letters from her human mother. she pulled one out and read it.
DEAR RAVEN,
HOW ARE YOU?WE HAVEN'T HEARD FROM YOU IN FOREVER. WE MISS YOU DARLING.
EVEN THOUGH YOUR FATHER NEVER WRITES HE MISSES YOU TOO. WHEN WE SENT YOU TO MOONLIGHT ACADEMY SO YOU COULD BE WITH THOSE OF YOUR KIND.
SORRY WE DIDN'T TELL YOU SOONER THAT YOU WERE ADOPTED BUT YOU LOOKED ENOPH LIKE ME I HOPED YOU WOULDN'T FIND OUT.I WANTED YOU TO BE MY LITTLE DAUGHTER BUT YOUR NOT. BUT YOUR STILL MY LITTLE GIRL.

she started as she got to her dorm room. she opened the door and walked threw the big , golden oak wood, and hand carved,door. she stepped into the room. plain. she walked to the closet and pulled out a box.

She opened the box and took out a pile of posters. she hung one over her bed that had plain white sheets and quilt. she had one pillow and that was it. the poster was of a beautifull fairy wearing a long flowing blue dress and her wings were clear and her hair was scarlet chrimson with a copper strande behind her ear. she was looking up at nothing and reaching above her head and was kneeling down. Raven loved this poster because it was the first fairy she had ever met or known other than herself. this fairy died meny years ago.Raven layed on her bed and looked at the poster above her head on the roof. a dragon from the north. her friend had given it to her three years before she had died.

raven stood up nocking half of the pile of posters on to the floor.she walked to the window of her room and looked out.all she cold see was the woods.of course the woods was all there was. well and the court yard. she loved it here. she used to live in the city. the human city and hated it with a passion.she exeled at human school and now knew why. she wasn't human. oh well she was here now.

raven gets up and walks over to the door and sees the note laying on the ground. tears crest her eye's. "Oh.....i gotta get out here." she opens the door and slams it before locking it and runns past the enterance hall and out the door.

A dark hooded someone stepped out of the shadows after Raven ran out of the room. They looked after her, shaking her head. The dark hooded someone rose up and looked at the portrait of the fairy. They rose a hand to their mouth and blew on it. Then they passed their hand over the portrait. The fairy comes to life and looks at the someone.
"Who are you?" the fairy askes them.
"Someone." they reply. "Ye cause this girl a bit of pain ye know. May I ask why?"
The fairy relaxes into a sitting position. "The girl, Raven, did not know what she was until she met me. She was so nice and sweet but then I died. She was left alone for a while. I can see why I cause her pain."
The someone nods. "Would ye wish to still be around somehow? To help her through her rough times?"
The fairy looks at them and nods fervently. "That would be wonderful!"
The someone lowers themself to the floor. "Then I will not take back the power I gave ye. Use it well, dear fairy."
The someone steps back into the shadows and leaves silently, leaving no trace of their being there except for the portrait of the fairy.

raven walks into her bedroom and sits on the end of her bed. she hears a voice behind her. she turns around and looks at the picture. the picture moves and say's ,"hello raven." raven's eye's widen and she falls backwards and passes out cold.

A dark hooded someone looks down at Raven. Then up at the picture. "Hmm. Maybe I should have left a note for the girl." they say thoughtfully. "That would have been a good idea." the picture says. They nod in agreement and pick Raven up, placing her on her bed gently.

raven wakes up and looks around."what a funny dream. i don't even remember falling asleep." she turnes around and the picture smiles at her. her eye's widen but this time she screams and passes out.
