He couldn't handle that scream so he covered her mouth with his and went into her mind. He didn't want to, but he had to. To make his wife better, he had to find out what was wrong.

It wouldn't tak elong to find it Kyra had unlocked the door Kimi had put on those memories and they were flooding her brain. It started with a meeting with her brother and him telling her that like normal she would have to pay him. 'Something is wrong with his eyes' she had thought. Aleksei said that she didn't have to pay him yet though. Her brother walked over to her and pulled a dagger from his hip. He sliced it across his arm letting the infamous black blood of her clan, slither down his arm. Without thinking of what the payment would be she lundged for his arm and drank greedily. He smiled down at her and stroked her hair softly 'Drink up my sister, for you shall need it.' Kimi's mind skipped the next few hours and into her brother tieing her to her bed and slowly touching her she resisted but she was no match for the head of the Sakunami clan. Soon it was MUCH more than touching, and though she screamed the maids paid no attention to her. She was like this for months, starved, beated, and raped unmercifully. But after a while she actually came to accept what was happening and even started to fall in love with her captor. This made her unamusing to her brother so one nigth he cut the ropes and just let her go. She begged on her knees and asked for him to keep her "Keep you?" He laughed in her face. "You ran away from us remember?! You ran off and found that other man!" Aleksei began to kick her towards the door. Kimi's heart filled with guilt about forgeting Liam and her precious daughter. Kimi scrammbled to get to the door but not before being kicked once more. Kimi stood infront of the house she had grown up in tears rolling down her face in shame. She asked why he hated her so much. Aleksei simply said "Because I loved you more than anyone in this entire world ever could and you ran away from me." With that he turned and slammed the door behind him. Kimi quickly gathered her things that had been thrown onto the lawna nd ran. For the next few weeks she lived in the forest debating with herself whether to beg for forgivness from her brother or just run around this time is when Kyra came into the picture. Kyra finally convinced her to go back to Liam and her baby. Once she had decided to go she locked the memories of her brother in the back of her mind forever. She ran as fast as she could back to the Beyond praying Liam would understand without her telling him.

After he saw what had happened to her, all the horrible things; the horrible acts; he was filled with a melting pot of feelings. Regret for having hurt his wife by making her remember, indescribable rage at the man who made her like this, sadness that both he and their daughter had been forgotten. But the feeling that was most dominant was the rage. He kept it in check however as he pulled away from his wife, looking down into her eyes; his own changing rapidly from silver to black as he kept the chaotic mass of feelings reined in. "Kimi, Kimi... I am so sorry." He kissed her repeatedly. "I won't make you go through that again. I promise you." He kissed her again, a long kiss and with that simple action, all of those memories were now locked securely behind that door.

Her body tenced then relaxed as the memories faded away. She pushed Liam away but gently , letting her sit up, crosslegged. "It's ok...you deserve to know" she said as she wiped away her tears.

Moving so that he was sitting beside her now, he put his arms around her and pulled against her so that she leaned against his chest now. He kissed the top of her head and muttered, "Yes but I shouldn't have learned that way. I shouldn't have forced my way into it." They simply sat there for a while, Liam just holding Kimi, still battling with all those emotions swirling around in him. Then he lowered his head to her ear and pressed his mouth against it, whispering, "O great one, O She Who Has No Equal, I promise to always love you; to always be there when you need me; to hold you forever if need be; if you call for me, I'll be by your side in under a second. And I promise that I won't love another person. There is none other like you. My beautiful wife. O She Who Has No Equal. You have the perfect name, love."

Her face tined black in a blush. "I'm so ashmamed... I forgot you two...and even in the end..." she began to cry again "I was willing to give you up for m-my brother!" She out head in her hands to hide her face. "I'm so sorry!"

Yes he was definitely a bit ticked about that but there was nothing he could do about it now. "Don't worry about that, love. I don't really care and I know for certain that Tariq doesn't either. She's just happy to have her mother back." Liam said, holding her tighter. "Take as long as you need, love, to get used to being back or just being yourself. But I won't leave you alone. I don't care if it's the right thing to do. We pillage and murder for heaven's sake! I'd say rape but the only guy to do that so far is dead... So I'll stay by your side the whole time."

Her tears eventually dried and she leaned against him and laughed softly "Who would think the big bad villain would be so caring and forgiving?"

His smile turned into a smug grin. "Yes, but you love me for it." Liam said then lowered his head to kiss her gently. It was more of an asking for permission kiss than a nice one. (He really is an a*s)

She kissed him back hesitantly but as time passed she was back into her average rhythm as though she has never left in the first place.

He kissed her for a while longer then pulled away and pulled her back along with him so that they were laying down, her with her head on his shoulder. He rested his head against hers, yawning. "I'm tired thanks to you- and Kyra- trying your hardest to kick my a*s." Liam muttered, wincing at the thought of all three fights. "So, if you want to rape me at all during the night just wake me up and tell me what you're going to do. I'll try to go along with it." With that he closed his eyes and pretended to sleep. (this way Kimi could smack him or something basically telling him to stay up with her if she wanted him to)

Kimi just giggled softly "It's ok I'll rape you in the morning" she said laughing but if someone were to know Kimi like Liam knew her she was dead serious. But for the moment Kimi was just glad to have Kyra asleep for a while and have her mind to her own. She snuggled next to Liam and drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

Almost snickering at what she said, he waited until she was asleep to open his eyes and look at her. She was at peace now; sleeping well and she seemed happy. He grinned and pulled her closer. He was certainly happy that she was back. Liam kissed her forehead and muttered, "I love you." Shortly after-wards he was fast asleep beside her.
