Harumi sighed as she watched him go. She turned back to Rin with a sad smile. "I'm going to have to go away for a lot longer than last time, sweetheart. And your father is upset because of it." she said softly.

"You have to go away? Why, Mommy?" Eime asked, going over to the other two.

"No Mommy! I don't want you to go! You can't!" she said, flinging her arms around her mother, tears overflowing from her eyes.

"Girls, I don't want to go either but I have to. Please understand." she said, hugging both of them, kissing their foreheads. "I'm doing this for both of you. And your father. We'll just have to make this time that we have together the best we can before I go, all right?"

Harumi smiled and nodded at her eldest. "I promise, Rin. I'd never leave you guys." Then she turned to her youngest daughter. "Eime, you have to be brave for me ok?"
Eime nodded and wiped at her eyes. "I promise Mommy. I'll do my best. Maybe I'll turn out to be like Rin! She's really brave and isn't afraid of alot." she said, smiling at her mother.
Their mother nodded and wiped away a few tears. She hugged Eime to her and then shooed her off to bed. "To bed now Eime. Go on." After she watched her daughter walk back to her room, she went after her husband. "Ryuu? We really need to talk about this."

Rin followed her little sister and went to sleep.

Ryuu glared at his wife. "I'm tired," he muttered and walked to his room and closed the door.

She went over and sat down next to him. "You know I work at the Academy to help our family. You know that I would never leave you guys. Why are you taking this so badly, Ryuu?" she asked, putting a hand on his cheek.

Ryuu looked at his wife and wrapped his arms around her and gave her a long kiss. ONce he was done he pulled away and smiled.

Harumi gave her husband an answering smile. "All right, dear." she said, quickly gathering her things. "Please explain to the girls that I'll be home as soon as possible. And that I love them very much." She stopped at the doorway and looked at him. "I love you Ryuu. I promise to be home soon." With that she turned and left.

~A year Later~
*Now Eime's 9 and Rin's 10*
It was morning and the girls were doing there chores.
Rin was riding her horse around the ring for the excersie. While Ryuu was in the house cleaning.
