Tatsu stared at her for a while, completely silent. Then he leaned forward and kissed her softly.

Her heart stopped mid beat as she kissed him back. one minute she was swinging in a tree and the next she was kissing the most amazing person ever.

Akira suddenly relized she couldn't breathe and relctantly broke the kiss. Her eyes were now a shining bright blue indicating that she was in love.

"Well, they're bright blue right now. Does it mean something that they changed?" he asked, brushing the skin just under her eyes very lightly with his thumbs.

Red suddenly flushed her face. Her eyes turned bright green. "They haven't changed in years. I haven't had strong enough emotions to make them change. You see my eyes change when a strong emotion fills me. I don't know what blue is they've never turned that color. the only ones I know of are black normaly, green of embarrasment, and red for obviously hatred."

He laughed. "Of course. And now you must be embarassed because they are green. Now that if your eyes are ever red to leave you alone." he said, smiling and letting his hands rest lightly on her face.
