Leah bounced into Death Valley with Kisa and Kimi behind her. "It's not far from here so we'll take a rest here." Then she climbed on a rock and sat cross-legged. "So Kisa, what do you wanna do when we get there?"

"Yeah. We're just takin a breather. We have to climb a good way." she said, dangling her feet over the edge of the boulder. Then she looked sharply up. "I'll be right back, ok Kisa? Don't move." Then she slipped off the boulder and walked into the shadows. A few seconds later something came flying at Kisa's head and she was knocked out.

He rolled his eyes at her. "Whatever, Kimi. Now don't distarct me. I need to do something." He shut his eyes and frowned. Then he went stock still. Under his eyelids, his eyes moved from left to right, as if reading or searching for something.
